FEATURES:
CONSTRUCTION: The twin unit has two such pans mounted on a longer but similar cabinet. Ample cleaning space is provided beneath the pedestal and floor level (180mm). The support cabinet encloses the electrical controls, hand-wheel tilting mechanism and electrical front-mounted circuit breakers. The electric control panel is splash-proof and recessed to avoid breakage. A variable temperature controller with a range of between 50 250degrees C. is mounted on the front of the pedestal next to the on/off switch. The twin unit has duplicate tilting mechanisms and temperature controllers. No side pedestals are required, therefore the unit has an extremely efficient footprint. The pan has rounded corners and pouring lip enabling entire contents of the pan to be discharged. The pan is fully insulated all-round for safety purposes and is swivel mounted providing a smooth tilting action from the horizontal to full tilt. Each pan is heated using 3 x 4Kw. elements which are mounted onto the underside of the pan, in such a way so that they can be easily replaced if necessary. Each pan has an operational capacity of 80 litres. The spring-loaded lid is constructed from grade 430 stainless steel, 1.2mm thick, is braced and strengthened and is provided with an internal drip flange, so that condensate forming in the lid pours back into the pan.

The model ALTP80TH 80litre Twin tilting frypan features two x 80litre frypans with stainless steel base and sides, each pan has independent heating and controls. Pans are mounted side-by-side on a stainless steel pedestal.

CONSTRUCTION:
The unit consists of two rectangular shaped all stainless steel tilting pans each with a 4,5mm thick base, mounted on a stainless steel enclosed pedestal. The entire unit is supported on square tubing reinforced stainless steel legs with adjustable feet.
The pan, pedestal, cladding and legs are all constructed of grade 304 stainless steel.
Ample cleaning space is provided beneath the pedestal and floor level (120mm).
The support pedestal encloses the electrical controls, tilting mechanisms, water inlet valves and electrical front-mounted circuit breakers for each independently operated pan.
The electric control panels are splash-proof and recessed to avoid breakage and includes:
i) Adjustable temperature control.
ii) Amber pilot light to indicate temperature cycling;
iii) Green heat on illuminated push-button control;
iv) Red heat off illuminated push-button control;
v) Green tilt illuminated push-button control;
vi) Red return-tilt illuminated push-button control;
These push-button tilt controls enable the pans to be stopped in any position when tilting or returning.
No side pedestals are required, therefore the unit has an extremely efficient footprint.
Each stainless steel pan has rounded corners and a pouring lip enabling entire contents of the pan to be discharged. The pans are fully insulated all-round for safety purposes and are swivel mounted providing a smooth hydraulically operated tilting action from the horizontal to full tilt.
Each pan is heated by a very efficient patented heating system incorporating 3 x 3kW electric heating elements within a special high temperature alloy bolted onto base of each pan.
This heating system
covers almost 100% of the base of the pan resulting in a very effective
distribution of heat throughout the base pan.
The
heating elements are easily replaceable with the pan in the tilt position.
The 15mm N.B. water valve for each pan is situated on a recessed panel on each side of the support pedestal, with the water filler tap situated at the rear of the support pedestal for practical purposes.
This water connection supplies water for filling the pans for cooking as well as the tilting cylinders and water reservoir. A float valve in the reservoir ensures automatic filling while a high-pressure pump is installed for efficient tilting.
The lid of each pan is constructed from grade 304 stainless steel, 1.2mm thick, is braced and strengthened and is provided with an internal drip flange, so that condensate forming in the lid pours back into the pan.
The lid is counter-balanced by means of a high quality spring mechanism which holds it in any position required, and the lid is raised automatically when the pan is tilted.

The lid is counter-balanced by means of a high quality spring mechanism which holds it in any position required. The lid is fitted with full-length heat-protected handle, enabling the operator to lift the lid from anywhere in front of the unit.
